I had a very sucessful Youth Council this last year.  I will be accepting applications for a new Youth Council Mayor & Council in the coming months.  I am also in need of a Youth Council Advisor to help facilitate meetings and activities.  Any interested citizens should feel free to contact me via email marci.satterthwaite@perrycity.org or 734-2497.  This is a worthwhile activity and provides great leadership opportunities to the youth in our City.

Hello again this has been a great summer. I hope everyone is enjoying the heat (laugh). My grandmother used to say life begins at 95…..degrees. Once again we would like to invite everyone out to city council. We meet the second and fourth Thursday of each month and the room is air-conditioned so if nothing else come and enjoy the cool air and wonderful conversation. Also if you’re running for a city council seat it is a great way to get ahead of the game. We have seen several of you there so keep up the good work.
I would like to extend an invitation to all volunteers. We are working on parks and trails so if you would like to make them better and get involve and get some good exercise let me know. Thanks for all you do and make sure you come to the “Meet the Canidates Night” at Perry Elementary Tuesday the 21st of Aug.
